The Malibu outdoor double units are a stylish, fully woven double unit in a very subtly synthetic water hyacinth weave.
Part of the Malibu sectional range, the double unit is available in left or right version.
** Please note that we class left or right as you look at it, so a left hand double unit would have the arm on the left if you were facing it.**
With its powder coated aluminium frame and high quality, UV resistant, chunky synthetic weave, the Malibu is fully weather hardy for all year outdoor use. However due to the subtlety of the tactile weave, it can easily be used in interior schemes or areas that are slightly in-between in nature, such as conservatories, garden rooms, cabanas, orangeries and extensions.
Designed primarily to be used with the other Malibu units to create a sectional set up, the double units can also be used on their own as a type of chaise.
Sectional seating – How does it work?
Due to the arm and back of the Malibu being the same height, by combining a Malibu double unit with a sofa, it will transform into an “L” section.
The double units are effectively sofas with only one arm, similar to a chaise lounge, they are available in both left and right versions. Choose whichever orientation suits your space, to create a set up that works for you.
The addition of the Malibu single unit adds another layer of versatility to this range.
There are several possible layouts with the Malibu, from “L” sections to giant sofas or “U” shaped layouts, just take a look at our gallery for some ideas.
Tips – For large spaces, use a double unit left and a double unit right to create a large 4 seat sofa. Turn this into a “U” shape by adding another double unit left and right.
To complete the look, be sure to order the Malibu seat pads.
** Please note – for any corner set up, you will require an additional arm/back pad, to ensure a seamless line of back cushions.
