Woven in a high quality synthetic peel on a powder coated aluminium frame, the Tubby is designed to be outside the whole year long. Wonderfully low maintenance, we recommend an annual wash of the chair with soapy water or a pressure washer.
About the weave
We use some of the highest quality synthetic weaves available. The weave on the Tubby armchair is a synthetic peel called summergrass; synthetic peel is a flat type of synthetic weave, widely used on furniture to create a contemporary look with a great level of comfort and support. The colourway summergrass is a mixed brown colour which, although synthetic, blends beautifully in outdoor settings with an emphasis on foliage and natural materials.
As well as having a matching sofa, there are also corresponding tables called Concentric, which go perfectly with the Tubby range.
The optional seat pad to the Tubby is made to order here at our base and available in a choice of fabrics.
