Our Mode corner unit is a part of our supremely versatile modular seating range, which can be tailored to fit your individual needs. Manufactured entirely in the UK, the Mode has a strong wooden frame with an extremely comfortable fixed spring section seat, sprung back, and metal legs.
Part of our seating range for many years now, the Mode has had a recent redesign to now feature fixed spring sections seats, instead of a conventional seat pad. The fixed nature of the seats has given the Mode a new lease of life, adding more uniformity to “L” sections and larger scale set ups (and also making them much easier to maintain their appearance).
How does it work?
The Mode has five basic elements: single unit; double unit; corner unit; footstool; and optional arms.
Combine the elements to create a seating solution that suits your scheme.
The Corner Units are necessary if you would like to create some form of “L” section within your scheme.
They can be teamed up with single units or double units to create whichever modular configuration you require.
The single units and double units can be ordered with and without arms.
Use different combinations of elements to create your seating setup. For example, to create an “L” section set up, similar to the one in the product gallery, you would use a Single Unit, Corner Unit and Double Unit Right.
For a slightly different look, you can also use the Corner unit as an end unit. By using corner units on the end of a configuration, instead of a single or double with an arm, you can create a setup with a full height arm all the way round.
The sheer versatility of the Mode has seen it be used in countless domestic and commercial schemes over the years, this has only increased since we have moved onto the fixed seat version.
Options
The Mode is shown on the website in a selected range of fabrics, should you not find something suitable, just contact the office for alternatives.
Should the pictured foot not quite work for your scheme, we have other options to choose from.
When you order a Mode set up we will provide a sturdy clip system to hold your units together in your chosen configuration.

Our fully upholstered furniture
Our range of fully upholstered sofas and armchairs such as Brighton, Lewes & Selsey all use locally made hardwood frames of the highest quality. The frames are generally made in beech wood and have an extremely strong construction using dowelled, screwed and glued joints. These are then brought to life by our experienced in-house team of upholsterers, using high quality springs and foams. We have our own stocked range of high quality fabrics, which are mainly sourced from continental Europe, we also have access to Abraham Moon wools and we can work with any customer’s own material (c.o.m), suitable for upholstery.
